Responsibilities

We are looking for skilled LVNs to join our Telemetry unit at our downtown Fresno campus! In this 47-bed unit, you will care for a diverse patient population with various surgical cardiac comorbidities, including post-open heart, Left Ventricular Assist Device, Pulmonary Hypertension trauma, and more! You should be a self-motivated team player eager to learn and ready to contribute to the efforts of this close-knit team. As the region's flagship hospital, this USCF academic-affiliated facility is home to the only Level I Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke and Comprehensive Burn Center between Los Angeles and Sacramento — serving as the area's "safety net provider" and covering nine counties. Qualifications

Education• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required• Completion of an accredited Vocational Nursing School program OR become licensed by equivalency required Licenses and Certifications• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required• LVN - Current State of California Licensed Vocational Nurse License required• LVNIVTX - IV Therapy Certification (LVN) required within 180 days of hire or transfer into position
