LVN or RN - PRN

Nurse Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our skilled nursing facility team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment for residents.

Nurse Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff to ensure effective patient care.
• Assess and monitor patients' health status, documenting changes and communicating with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and care plans.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in staff training and development to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
• Address and resolve any patient or family concerns in a timely and professional manner.

 Nurse Skills and Qualifications:

• Current LVN or RN license in the state of practice.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficient in electronic health records and other healthcare technology.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
