LPN to ride the School Bus

RN/LPN NEEDED – SCHOOL BUS NURSE

Interim Healthcare is looking for a compassionate RN or LPN to provide one-on-one nursing care for a special needs child while riding the school bus to and from school.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a nurse who enjoys working with children and wants to make a meaningful difference in a child’s day!

*  WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Provide one-on-one nursing care for a child with special healthcare needs
• Ride the school bus with the child to and from school
• Monitor the child's condition throughout transportation
• Provide medications and treatments as ordered
• Assist with medical equipment and specialized needs
• Respond appropriately to changes in the child's condition
• Communicate with the family, school staff, and healthcare team
• Help ensure the child has a safe, comfortable, and positive school experience

* WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Current Kansas RN or LPN license
• Current BLS certification
• Pediatric or home health experience preferred
• Experience caring for medically complex children is a plus
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient
• Comfortable working independently with a child
• Strong communication and safety skills
