Responsibilities:
- Monitor and evaluate clinical documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance
- Conduct routine audits of patient records and care plans to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with nursing staff and clinical teams to implement quality improvement initiatives
- Track and report quality metrics, outcomes, and performance indicators to management
- Assist in developing and updating policies, procedures, and clinical protocols
- Participate in staff education and training related to quality assurance standards and best practices
- Identify and report compliance issues, safety concerns, and risk management matters
Requirements:
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Arizona
- Previous experience in quality assurance, compliance, or a related healthcare role preferred
- Strong knowledge of clinical documentation standards and regulatory requirements
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) and healthcare management software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and staff collaboration
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
