Parking Lot Auditor – Boulder, CO

Location: Multiple hospitality properties in Boulder

Base Pay: $19.50 per hour (Depending on property)

Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Schedule: Day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts

Parking Management Company (PMC) is hiring a dependable, detail-oriented Parking Lot Auditor to support hotel self-parking operations.

This position monitors parking activity, completes vehicle and revenue audits, maintains accurate records, assists guests, and helps keep the parking facility safe, clean, and organized. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, using computers and parking systems, and remaining alert throughout an overnight shift.

What You’ll Do

• Issue parking tickets, process payments, and accurately track receipts and related records.
• Complete shift reports, vehicle counts, ticket logs, revenue reports, and other required documentation.
• Report errors, discrepancies, and unusual activity promptly.
• Record vehicle information, organize keys when applicable, and maintain accurate parking records.
• Regularly inspect the parking area and report hazards, suspicious activity, parking violations, and security concerns.
• Follow all safety and incident-reporting procedures.
• Keep the parking area, booth, and workstation clean and organized.
• Report damaged equipment, lighting problems, debris, and other hazards.
• Assist guests with payments, parking questions, and directions.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with guests, team members, supervisors, and clients.
• Maintain dependable attendance and arrive prepared for scheduled shifts.
• Follow company and property policies.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
• Perform other job-related duties consistent with the position’s responsibilities and operational needs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous parking, auditing, cash-handling, hospitality, or customer-service experience preferred.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate written and electronic records.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Availability to work assigned days, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Licenses & Background Requirements

A valid driver’s license and an acceptable motor vehicle record are required only when driving is an essential function of the assigned position.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

This position requires the ability to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Move throughout parking lots, garages, booths, and hotel areas.
• Lift or carry up to 50 pounds when required.
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
• Work safely around moving vehicles, traffic, noise, and parking equipment.
• Use computers, mobile devices, payment systems, and two-way radios.
• Remain alert to changing safety and operational conditions.

Wage-and-Hour Compliance

This is a non-exempt position. PMC complies with applicable minimum-wage, overtime, meal-period, rest-period, and recordkeeping requirements. Employees will receive overtime and other required compensation in accordance with California and federal law.

PMC also maintains workers’ compensation coverage as required by law.

Employment with PMC is at will. This means either PMC or the employee may end the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause or advance notice, subject to applicable law.
