What You Will Be Doing
- Helping clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Preparing meals and assisting with eating
- Light housekeeping, laundry, and errands
- Medication reminders
- Transportation to doctor's appointments, errands, and social outings
- Providing companionship, whether that means watching a movie together, playing cards, or just being someone to talk to
- Helping clients move safely around their home
- Giving family caregivers a much needed break
What We Are Looking For
- A genuinely caring, dependable personality. This is the most important thing.
- Some experience in caregiving, professional or personal. If you have cared for a parent, grandparent, or neighbor, that counts.
- Reliable transportation and a valid California driver's license. You will need to get to your clients consistently and on time.
- Ability to clear a Live Scan background check
- Negative TB test result
- Registered Home Care Aide (HCA) with the State of California, or willingness to register
- CPR and First Aid a plus
Flexible schedules available. Competitive pay based on experience.
Serving La Jolla, Downtown San Diego, Coronado, Point Loma, Old Town, Normal Heights, Sorrento Valley, Mission Valley, Kearny Mesa, Mira Mesa, Miramar, and surrounding areas.

Services are provided by qualified, screened, trained, and insured care givers, who carefully selected for their skill, compassion and their passion for caring for people.
Services include: Alzheimer’s disease and dementia care, Companionship, bathing grooming and hygiene, meal preparation including special diets, accompanying people to social activities or appointments, chores, medication reminders, errands, light housekeeping and laundry, and family respite, transportation, shopping and safety supervision. In addition, ComForCare offers a unique and specialized program called "Transition of Care Program” geared to post hospitalization periods.
Our services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year from compassionate caregivers who are experienced, trained, bonded and insured. All cases are managed and supervised by an RN.
