Job Description
**DATES OF COVERAGE:**
- November 26-29
- December 25, 7 AM - December 28, 7 AM
**JOB DETAILS:**
- **Practice Setting:** Hospital rounding with possible surgical intervention.
- **Coverage Schedule:** 24-hour duty.
- **Call Schedule:** To Be Announced (TBA).
- **Documentation System/EMR:** EPIC
**PROCEDURES/SURGERIES REQUIRED:**
- Aneurysm Repair
- Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG)
- Heart Valve Replacement
**ADDITIONAL PROCEDURES REQUIRED OR PREFERRED:**
- Cardiothoracic surgical expertise
**SHIFT DESCRIPTION:**
- Friday 5 PM to Monday 7 AM
**MANDATORY JOB REQUIREMENTS:**
- Fellowship training in cardiovascular surgery (REQUIRED)
- Board certification in cardiovascular surgery (REQUIRED)
- Active South Carolina medical license (applications for licensure will not be accepted) (REQUIRED)
- Current ACLS certification (REQUIRED)
- Self-query NPBD report as a condition of presentation (REQUIRED)
- Applicants must have clean professional backgrounds for consideration for temporary positions (REQUIRED)
