Locum - Physician - Surgery - Cardiothoracic

**Available Dates for Coverage:**

- September 14 at 07:00 to September 21 at 07:00
- October 16 at 07:00 to October 23 at 07:00
- November 20 at 07:00 to November 30 at 07:00
- December 24 at 07:00 to January 4, 2027 at 07:00

**Additional Details:**
- Coverage required for call; locum will provide support in the office/clinic setting.

- Clinic operational hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 16:00.
- All clinic hours and callback hours are billable at the callback rate.

**Facility Overview:**

- Full-service acute care hospital.
- Practice caseload: 100% adult; 100% hospital-based.
- Staffing: 1 physician, 2 mid-level providers (APPs).

- Onsite diagnostic facilities: laboratory and radiology.

- Electronic documentation system: EPIC.
- Total bed capacity: 250, with 60 designated for ICU.

**Key Surgical Procedures Required:**

- General cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgeries.

- Coronary artery bypass grafting.

- Management of congenital defects.

- Valvular repair and replacements.

- Aneurysm repairs.

- Lung resections (including VATS).

- Chest wall and pleural procedures.

- Surgical procedures for the esophagus and diaphragm.

- Endarterectomies (carotid and renal).

- Management of ventilation.

- Bronchoscopy.

- Evaluation and management of acute volume and blood pressure issues.

**Mandatory Qualifications:**

- Board Certified in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery.

- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Valid Ohio state license or IMLC (Letter of Qualification must be available at the time of submission).

- Candidates with vascular surgery experience will be prioritized, though this is not an absolute requirement.

- Clean malpractice/background history is highly preferred.

- Candidates must be available for any dates specified in the job description.

**Certification and License Requirements:**

- Certification in ACLS and BLS is mandatory.
- Must be Board Certified.

- Valid Ohio medical license required.
