Locum NP (Nurse Practitioner), PA (Physician's Assistant) Vascular Surgery

In this role, you will provide high-quality care to patients undergoing vascular surgery, assisting with evaluations, patient management, and follow-up care. You will collaborate closely with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and evaluations for vascular surgery
• Assist in the development and management of treatment plans
• Perform pre-operative and post-operative patient care
• Collaborate with surgical teams during procedures
• Educate patients and families about vascular health
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Respond to patient inquiries in a timely manner

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in a relevant healthcare field
• Current NP or PA license in the state of Georgia
• Experience in vascular surgery or related fields is preferred
• Strong clinical skills and patient management abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Basic proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Schedule: 10 hour day shifts, 4 days per week

Daily Volume: 7-10 cases

Procedures Required: Endoscopic vein harvesting

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

ACLS & CALS required

Paid travel & expenses
