Locum NP (Nurse Practitioner), PA (Physician's Assistant) Radiology

In this role, you will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality diagnostic services. Your expertise will be crucial in managing patient assessments, interpreting imaging results, and assisting in treatment plans. Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and history-taking prior to radiological procedures
• Assist radiologists in interpreting imaging studies and results
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
• Document patient interactions and maintain accurate health records
• Provide patient education regarding procedures, results, and follow-up care
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Stay current with advancements in radiology practices and technologies
• Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
• Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant
• Experience in radiology or a related field preferred
• Exceptional clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Knowledge of relevant medical software and technology

Schedule: Monday–Sunday 7 on/7 off

Shift Times: 5p–12a

Duties: Light IR procedures, including paras, thoras, and biopsies

Support Team: Hybrid DX team

Must be board-certified
