Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments for pediatric patients
• Develop and implement patient care plans
• Provide clinical care including diagnosis and treatment of common pediatric conditions
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
• Participate actively in hospitalist team meetings
• Stay updated on the latest pediatric healthcare advancements

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Nursing or related field
• Current NP or PA certification and licensure
• Experience in pediatric care preferred
• Strong clinical skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR)
• Commitment to ongoing professional development

Schedule: 24-hour in-house shifts, 1 shift every 3-4 days

Daily Census: 10-12 nursery, 8-12 children, 2-3 PICU patients

Support Staff: Pediatric Hospitalist, residents

EMR: Epic

2-3 years of experience required; must have PICU experience

Must be board-certified
