Locum MD (Medical Doctor) Radiology

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiological examinations and interpret results
• Consult with medical staff regarding patient diagnosis and treatment plans
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of radiology techniques and technologies
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards
• Participate in continuing education and professional development
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
• Document and report findings accurately and promptly
• Assist in training and mentoring medical staff as needed

Requirements

• MD degree from an accredited medical school
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of Florida
• Experience in radiology and diagnostic imaging
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and integrity
• Fellowship training in Radiology is a plus

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30a-5:30p

Call Shifts: ~1 per month

Setting: Onsite

Case Volume: 80-100 studies per day, 7 RVUs per hour

Patient Population: 80% pediatric, 20% adult

EMR: Cerner

PACS: Visage

Dictation: PowerScribe

Must be board-certified
