As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating patients through advanced imaging techniques. Responsibilities
- Interpret medical images and provide accurate diagnoses
- Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss imaging findings
- Conduct interventional radiology procedures as needed
- Maintain patient records and documentation accurately
- Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
- Supervise and mentor radiology staff and trainees
- Stay updated on advancements in radiological practices and technologies
Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) degree from an accredited institution
- Valid medical license to practice in the state
- Experience in radiology, preferably in a clinical setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Familiarity with the latest radiological technologies and methodologies
- Commitment to patient care and ethical standards in practice
Schedule: 7a-3p or 3p-10p
No call requirement
Setting: 100% remote
Modalities: XR, CT, MRI, US, NM, and MIM
Must be able to read CTAs (head and neck), MRIs (head and spine), and obstetric ultrasounds
Workstations provided
Must be ABR or AOBR board-certified or board-eligible
