As a Locum Radiology MD, you will play a vital role in interpreting radiological studies, providing timely and accurate diagnostic insights, and collaborating with referring physicians to guide patient care decisions. Responsibilities

• Interpret a wide range of radiological studies, including X-rays, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy
• Provide accurate and timely diagnostic reports to referring physicians and healthcare providers
• Consult with clinical teams to discuss findings, recommend follow-up procedures, and support treatment planning
• Perform image-guided procedures as required, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Document patient information and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
• Adhere to established protocols, quality standards, and radiation safety guidelines
• Collaborate with radiologic technologists and other staff to optimize imaging workflows
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer review processes
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals in a compassionate manner
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advances in radiology and imaging technology

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
• Active, unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Texas
• Board certification or active board eligibility in Radiology
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Radiology
• Strong diagnostic interpretation skills across all imaging modalities
• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Adaptability to work in different clinical environments and manage varying caseloads
• Commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, and continuous professional development

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4p or 9a-5p

No call required

Setting: Onsite

Case Types: Abdominal imaging (body and chest)

Must be able to read abdominal MRI and some prostate/MR

EMR: Epic

PACS: Fuji

Must be board-certified

CSR and DEA required

Paid travel & expenses
