As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. Responsibilities

• Perform radiology procedures and interpret diagnostic imaging results
• Collaborate with other medical professionals to provide integrated patient care
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality assurance standards
• Communicate findings clearly to referring physicians and patients
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to case discussions
• Stay current with advancements in radiology techniques and technology
• Assist in the training and mentorship of medical staff and residents
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Radiology
• Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification
• Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in imaging modalities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
• Level I trauma center

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

Weeknight and weekend call

Patient Ages: Pediatric

Case Volume: 80-100 per day

Case Types: Plain films, ultrasounds, CT, and MRs; no neuro

PACS: Visage

Dictation: PowerScribe

Work List: Workflow Orchestrated

Board certification required
