Locum MD (Medical Doctor) Primary Care

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a primary care setting
• Conduct thorough examinations and assessments
• Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions
• Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
• Participate in continuous professional development and training
• Adhere to regulations and ethical practices in medical care

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Licensed to practice medicine in the state of California
• Prior experience in a primary care environment preferred
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting
• Flexible and adaptable to changing patient needs
• Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practice

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p

Daily Volume: ~10 patients, including 1-2 telehealth appointments

Case Types: Diabetes, hypertension, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, degenerative arthritis, depression, congestive heart failure, angina, and pain

EMR: CPRS

Must be board-certified or board-eligible

DEA, BLS & ACLS required
