Locum MD (Medical Doctor) Primary Care

As a Locum MD in Primary Care, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients, diagnosing and treating various health conditions, and ensuring continuity of care. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments
• Diagnose and develop treatment plans for various medical conditions
• Prescribe medications and manage patient care
• Collaborate with nurses and medical staff to ensure quality patient care
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records
• Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
• Participate in patient care team meetings and case discussions
• Stay updated with current medical practices and guidelines

Requirements

• MD degree from an accredited medical school
• Active medical license to practice in California
• Experience in primary care or related field preferred
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of healthcare protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Commitment to patient-centered care

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
• No call requirement
• Setting: Outpatient clinic
• Patient Census: 8-12 per day
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses
