 This on-site contract position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to patient care in a collaborative medical practice environment.

As a Locum MD, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality healthcare to patients. You will engage with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes. Your expertise will be essential in managing acute and chronic medical conditions, all while adhering to our commitment to excellence in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical assessments and patient care
• Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions
• Collaborate effectively with nursing and administrative staff
• Participate in daily rounds and patient management discussions
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
• Advise on patient admissions and discharges where necessary
• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on medical advancements

Requirements

• MD degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of residency in Internal Medicine
• Active medical license in the state of practice
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in a hospitalist role preferred
• Commitment to providing patient-centered care

Schedule: 12-hour shifts

Patient Volume: 90-100 per day, 7-12 admits per night

Must be able to perform standard procedures

Support Staff: Hospitalist, APP

EMR: Cerner

Must be board-certified
