Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Vascular Surgery

As a Locum Vascular Surgeon, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care, performing vascular surgical procedures, and contributing to the overall success of our medical practice. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring optimal patient outcomes and advancing our commitment to excellence in healthcare services.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular surgical procedures with precision and care
• Evaluate and manage patients with vascular conditions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
• Participate in continuous medical education and training
• Adhere to all medical protocols and standards of care
• Consult with referring physicians and healthcare providers as needed

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Active medical license in the state of Georgia
• Board certification in Vascular Surgery preferred
• Strong clinical skills and experience in vascular procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practices
• Previous locum tenens experience is a plus

Schedule: 8 shifts per month (1 week per month)

Required Skills: Standard open/endovascular skillset, EVAR, TEVAR, and ischemia

Support Staff: 3 surgeons, 5 APPs

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
