Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Primary Care

 This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to directly impact patient care in a supportive medical practice environment. You will be working on-site, ensuring that our patients receive high-quality healthcare services.

As a Locum MD or DO, you will provide comprehensive medical evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments to patients in a primary care setting. Your role will include collaboration with fellow healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes, adhering to best practices and guidelines in the industry.

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
• Provide preventive care and health education to patients
• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice
• Stay current with medical guidelines and practices
• Assist in the training and mentoring of junior staff

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Active medical license in the state of practice
• Experience in a primary care setting is preferred
• Strong clinical skills and patient management abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
• Knowledge of electronic health record systems is a plus

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p

Daily Volume: Up to 10 per day, including some possible telehealth appointments

Will treat chronic medical problems such as diabetes, hypertension, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, degenerative arthritis, depression, congestive heart failure, angina, and pain

EMR: CPRS

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
