Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Primary Care

 This contract, on-site position offers a unique opportunity to provide essential healthcare services while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

As a Locum Primary Care Physician, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality medical care to our diverse patient population. This position is vital to ensuring continuity of care and meeting the healthcare needs of our community. You'll engage in various medical activities, including diagnosis, treatment, and patient education, contributing significantly to our goal of promoting health and wellness in Chino Valley.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments
• Diagnose and manage a broad range of medical conditions
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop treatment plans
• Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention
• Document patient interactions and care in compliance with regulatory standards
• Participate in continuous medical education and professional development
• Ensure adherence to all healthcare regulations and safety protocols
• Facilitate referrals to specialists as necessary

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• A valid medical license in the state of practice
• Previous experience in a primary care setting preferred
• Strong diagnostic skills and clinical judgment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement
• Able to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) systems is a plus

Schedule: Tuesday-Friday, 7a-5:30p

Call Requirement: Sporadic weeknights (5:30p-7a) and weekends (24-hour)

Daily Admissions Volume: 18 patients

Patient Populations: Adult & geriatric

Case Types: AWVs and acute needs

Support Staff: MA

EMR: Cerner

Must be board-certified
