Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Ob/Gyn

 This contract position is on-site, offering a unique opportunity to provide high-quality healthcare in a supportive and collaborative environment.

As a Locum Ob/Gyn, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive care to our patients, including prenatal, delivery, and postnatal services. You will work closely with a team of experienced healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to patients
• Conduct routine examinations, prenatal care, and deliveries
• Diagnose and treat a variety of women's health issues
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to develop treatment plans
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Participate in patient education and counseling
• Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in Ob/Gyn practices

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Current medical license to practice in the state
• Completion of residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Strong clinical skills and experience in patient care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and patient privacy
• Availability to work flexible hours as needed

• Schedule: Thursday-Sunday (7:30p-7:30a), 2 weekends per month
• Covering L&D, ED, and GYN inpatients
• Required Skillsets: Low-risk pregnancy, high-risk pregnancy, OB ultrasounds, routine and complicated deliveries, VBACs, surgical gynecology, and procedures
• Will supervise CNM
• EMR: Cerner
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses
