Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Ob/Gyn

 This contract position offers an excellent opportunity for qualified candidates to deliver exceptional healthcare services in a collaborative, on-site environment.

As a Locum MD/DO, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive care for women throughout their life stages, including routine examinations, prenatal care, and gynecological surgeries. Your contribution is vital to maintaining our commitment to high-quality patient care, and you will work closely with our dedicated healthcare team to ensure positive outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and provide clinical management for patients
• Administer prenatal and postnatal care, including counseling and education
• Perform gynecological procedures and surgeries as required
• Work collaboratively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records
• Stay current with medical advancements in gynecology and obstetrics
• Provide empathetic and compassionate patient care
• Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
• Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice
• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is preferred
• Strong clinical skills with a patient-centered approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment
• Prior experience in an Ob/Gyn setting preferred
• Commitment to continuing education and professional growth

Schedule: 24-hour weekend call, weeknight call

Setting: Inpatient

Patient Volume: ~35-40 per month

Cases: Full OB scope, no scheduled GYN or surgery cases

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
