As a Locum MD/DO, you will play a pivotal role in providing specialized medical care, including diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal conditions. Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations, diagnoses, and manage treatment plans
• Perform gastrointestinal procedures as necessary
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records
• Provide patient education on gastrointestinal health and wellness
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in gastroenterology
• Participate in hospital rounds and team meetings
• Ensure compliance with medical guidelines and standards

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Gastroenterology
• Active medical license in the state of practice
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Previous experience in a gastroenterology setting is preferred

Schedule: 24-hour on-site call shifts

Setting: Inpatient and outpatient

Daily Volume: ~4 consults

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

ACLS & BLS required

Paid travel & expenses
