. This contract position is on-site and offers a valuable opportunity to provide primary care services to our diverse patient population.
As a Locum Family Medicine Physician, you will play a crucial role in delivering quality healthcare and managing patient outcomes within our medical practice. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive comprehensive care tailored to their needs. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages
- Conduct thorough physical exams and assessments
- Diagnose and treat various acute and chronic illnesses
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care
- Educate patients and families on health management and wellness
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Participate in continuing education and professional development
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Active medical license in the state of Ohio
- Experience in primary care or family medicine is preferred
- Strong clinical skills and patient management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a clinical team
- Commitment to high-quality patient care
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p
No nights or call
Setting: Outpatient
Daily Volume: 9-12 patients
Duties: Primary care services, treat acute and chronic medical conditions, preventive care, medication management, and care coordination
Interdisciplinary care team model
Support Staff: RN, LPN, and administrative staff
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
Will accept any state license
ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
Paid travel & expenses
