Responsibilities

• Provide immediate care to emergency patients in a fast-paced environment
• Assess patient conditions and diagnose illnesses accurately
• Administer treatments and medications as necessary
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately
• Respond to emergencies promptly and efficiently
• Educate patients and families on health management strategies
• Participate in training and development initiatives as required

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Current board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine
• Active medical license in your practicing state
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in emergency medicine
• Strong clinical skills and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a high-stress environment
• Must possess a valid BLS and ACLS certification

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, specific dates

Annual Volume: 30k patients

Daily Census: 80-100 patients

Support Staff: Mid-levels

Subspecialty Support: Cardiology, neurology, neurosurgery, ENT, and ICU

EMR: Meditech

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
