. This contract position offers a vital opportunity to deliver high-quality medical care in a fast-paced environment.
As a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician, you will play a key role in providing immediate care to patients facing urgent medical conditions. Your contributions will be essential to ensuring the well-being of our diverse patient population and maintaining operational excellence in our medical practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent emergency medical care to patients
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of medical conditions
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions
- Respond effectively to medical emergencies
- Utilize evidence-based practices in patient care
- Ensure compliance with medical standards and protocols
Requirements
- Valid MD or DO degree
- Emergency Medicine board certification or eligibility
- Experience in emergency medical settings
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Knowledge of current medical practices and technologies
- Must have a valid medical license for the State of practice
Level III Trauma
Schedule: 7a-7p or 7p-7a
No call requirement
Daily Volume: 80 patients
Support Staff: APPs
EMR: Allscripts
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
