Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients
• Assess and triage patients based on their medical conditions
• Perform necessary medical procedures and interventions
• Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure efficient patient care
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding treatment options
• Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated with medical advancements
• Adhere to all healthcare regulations and standards of practice

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Active medical license in the state of Florida
• Experience in emergency medicine is preferred
• Strong clinical skills and ability to make quick decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required

Flexible Scheduling: 9 or 12-hour shifts

Support Staff: APPs

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
