As a Locum Cardiology Physician, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions, collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient management. This position is ideal for an Associate-level physician aiming to enhance their skills in a fast-paced medical environment

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments in cardiology
• Diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases and conditions
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results effectively
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Educate patients and families regarding cardiovascular health and preventive measures
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in cardiology
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification or eligibility in Cardiology
• Associate-level experience in a clinical environment
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting
• Commitment to high-quality patient care
• Licensure to practice medicine in the relevant jurisdiction

    24-hour call coverage

·      Practice Setting: Inpatient and outpatient

·      EMR: Epic

·      Must be board-certified

·      ACLS and BLS preferred

·      Paid expenses & travel
