Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Cardiology

 This contract position offers a unique opportunity for professionals at the associate level to contribute to a diverse range of cardiology cases within the accounting industry context.

As a Locum Cardiology Physician, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality healthcare services, ensuring that patients receive exceptional care. You will be involved in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions while collaborating with a dedicated team to enhance patient outcomes. 

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive cardiovascular assessments and diagnoses
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
• Conduct diagnostic tests and interpret results accurately
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Educate patients on cardiovascular health and preventive measures
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to case discussions
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Associate-level experience in cardiology or related field
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of operation
• Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to continuous professional development
• Experience in using electronic health records (EHR) systems is preferred

Schedule: Tuesday-Thursday, 9a-3p

No call requirement

Patient Volume: 20 per day

Duties: Clinic coverage and echocardiography reads

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
