In this associate-level role, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiovascular diseases and conditions
• Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies, including ECGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based medicine
• Perform and assist with cardiac procedures within the scope of credentialing
• Collaborate with primary care physicians, nurses, and specialists to ensure coordinated patient care
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Maintain thorough and accurate patient medical documentation
• Provide patient education on heart health, preventive care, and lifestyle management
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to cardiac emergencies
• Adhere to clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and departmental goals

Requirements

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification or board eligibility in Cardiology
• Valid and unrestricted medical license (or eligibility for state licensure)
• Associate-level clinical experience in cardiology or a related field
• Strong diagnostic, clinical reasoning, and decision-making skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site clinical environment
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Strong commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Schedule: Monday-Friday (7a-5p)

Call Shifts: Monday 5p-Thursday 7a, Friday 5p-Monday 7a

Patient Volume: 10-20 per day

2 cath labs onsite

Duties: Nuclear cardiology, TTE, diagnostic cath

EMR: Epic

Support Staff: MDs and APPs

Must be board-certified

Additional Certifications: DEA
