Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Anesthesiology

 This contract position is on-site and offers a unique opportunity to provide critical care within a dynamic medical practice environment.

As a Locum Anesthesiologist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality anesthetic care to patients across various surgical procedures. Your expertise will contribute to the well-being of our patients and the overall efficiency of our operations. Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures
• Evaluate patients' medical histories and develop appropriate anesthesia plans
• Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after anesthesia
• Collaborate with surgeons and other medical professionals
• Manage any complications or adverse reactions to anesthesia
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Provide guidance and education to nursing staff and trainees
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer reviews

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of Tennessee
• Board certification in Anesthesiology
• Experience in an anesthesiology practice or clinical setting
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10-hour shifts

No call requirement

Setting: Onsite

Daily Volume: 15-25 blocks per day

Case Types: Lumbar blocks, cervical blocks, radiofrequency ablations, sympathetic blocks, joint injections, spinal cord stimulator, transparametal, and other bread and butter cases

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
