Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Anesthesiology

As a Locum Anesthesiologist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality anesthetic services, ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures. Your expertise will directly contribute to our mission of providing outstanding healthcare services to the community.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and consultations
• Provide post-anesthesia care and support
• Stay informed on advancements in anesthesiology practices
• Adhere to safety protocols and standards of care
• Document patient care accurately in medical records

Requirements

• MD or DO degree with a valid medical license
• Completion of an accredited residency in Anesthesiology
• Experience as an Anesthesiologist in a clinical setting
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and pharmacology
• Excellent patient management and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and education
• Board certification in Anesthesiology is preferred

• Schedule: Friday (5p-7a) or weekends (7a-7a)
• Annual Volume: 3,600 surgical cases
• Case Types: Orthopedic, L&D, spine, GI, gynecology, urology, cath lab, interventional radiology, bariatric bypass, and minimal vascular cases
• Support Staff: Anesthesia providers, CRNA, Anesthesia Tech
• Will practice independently
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses
