Locum Gastroenterology Physician

**Position: Gastroenterology Physician (Locum Tenens) 

**Overview:**
We are seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterology Physician to provide locum tenens support in Longview, WA, with an expected start in August, contingent upon credentialing timelines. 

The position entails coverage in both clinic and inpatient settings, focusing on adult patients with a standard procedure list that excludes ERCP.

*Key Responsibilities:**

- **Daily Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM in the Acute Care Unit (ACU). 

- **On-call Duties:** 24-hour call from 8 AM to 8 AM, scheduled as needed to accommodate consults, rounding, and add-on cases.

- **Patient Load:** Manage a census of 12-14 patients daily across 129-136 inpatient beds.

- **Team Dynamics:** Work alongside  other GI providers, hospitalists, and 2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).

- **Procedural Skills:** Perform standard endoscopy procedures (non-ERCP).

- **Documentation System:** Proficiency in EPIC EMR is required.

**Requirements:**

- **Licensure:** Must possess an active Washington state medical license.

- **Certifications:** Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.

- **Credentialing:** Anticipated 30-day credentialing timeframe with a requirement for a clean file.

- **Vaccination:** Full vaccination is required with no exemptions accepted.
