Locum CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist) Anesthesiology

 This on-site, contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality anesthesiology services in a supportive and collaborative environment within the accounting industry.

As a Locum CRNA, you will play a critical role in delivering safe and effective anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures. Your expertise will contribute to our commitment to excellence in patient care, ensuring that every patient receives personalized attention and high standards of practice.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia levels throughout procedures
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient care
• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and consultations
• Manage postoperative pain and monitor recovery
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Adhere to safety and quality protocols in anesthesia practice
• Provide education and support to patients and their families

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Current certification as a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Experience in anesthesia practice as a CRNA
• Strong knowledge of anesthetic techniques and medications
• Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to maintaining patient safety and comfort

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts

Weeknight and weekend beeper call required

Case Mix: Orthopedic, general, endo, OB/GYN, pediatrics, urology, ENT, ophthalmology, and plastics

Must be proficient in blocks, spinals, and epidurals

Daily Team Structure: 3 CRNAs, 2 MDs

60% medical supervision

EMR: Medaxion
