Job Description
**Position Overview: Adult Nurse Practitioner**
- **Specialty:** Adult Nurse Practitioner exclusively
- **Coverage Dates:** Immediate start for 3 months with potential for extension

**Practice Setting:** Outpatient clinic focused on adult patients
- **Responsibilities:** Management of adult patients with conditions including diabetes, hypertension, COPD, and routine care for geriatric patients
- **Call Schedule:** No on-call duties; work hours are from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, full-time, with rotating weekend shifts (every other weekend) and weekday off days
- **Patient Volume:** Anticipated patient load of approximately 20-24 patients per day
- **Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System:** EPIC

**Required Certifications:** Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- **Credentialing Timeline:** Approximately 12 weeks from submission of application

**Licensure:** Active California nursing license required
