The litigation paralegal will support a personal injury caseload by drafting legal documents, managing discovery, and calendaring litigation timelines. They will also conduct client status calls and assist with trial preparation.
Job Description
The Role
We are seeking a Full-Time Litigation Paralegal to support our New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania caseload.
A minimum of 8 years of litigation experience in personal injury is required.
OUR REQUIREMENTS:
- Drafting Complaints and Initial Discovery
- PERSONAL INJURY 8+ years experience
- Forwarding Complaints to process servers and monitoring service of process
- Drafting Discovery Responses
- Calendaring and Noticing Depositions and Leaves of Absence
- Drafting and Filing Standard Motions and Motion Responses
- Calendaring litigation timelines
- Conducting status update calls with clients
- Client update calls
- Sending out and following up on non-party discovery requests
- Assist in trial preparation
- Verified litigation experience.
- Experience with Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas practice and PACFile e-filing preferred; Philadelphia Complex Litigation Center experience a strong plus.
