Linen Seamstress–Fabrication (PT to FT Opportunity)

Position Summary:

As a Linen Seamstress – Fabrication, you'll handcraft, tailor, and repair our bespoke linen inventory—from elegant napkins to dramatic drapes—ensuring every piece meets the highest standards of quality and style.

This part-time position offers flexibility and creativity, with the potential to evolve into a full-time role based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Linen Creation: Cut, sew, hem, and edge table linens, drapes, napkins, and more to exacting standards.

• Repair & Restore: Inspect, repair, and revitalize worn or damaged linens to event-ready condition.

• Custom Collaborations: Assist the Head Seamstress with bespoke pieces for branded or themed events.

• Inventory Accuracy: Track repairs and fabrication counts with care and precision.

• Luxury Control: Ensure every item leaving the warehouse is clean, pressed, and flawless.

• Equipment Care: Maintain sewing machines and tools to keep production humming.

• Teamwork: Partner with warehouse and operations teams to meet timelines and client needs.

• Skill Growth: Cross-train in other areas of fabrication such as fabric printing and design.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; formal training in textiles or tailoring a plus

• 3+ years of sewing or garment production experience

• Proficient with industrial sewing machines and fabric tools

• Strong eye for detail, pattern alignment, and finishing techniques

• Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

• Basic computer skills preferred (for logging inventory and repair info)

Work Environment:

• Based in our fabrication warehouse

• Requires frequent sitting, standing, and manual work

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
