Job Details: Job Location: FH - Stratford, CT, Position Type: Part Time, Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00Hourly, Job Category: Restaurant - Food Service, Two Roads Food Hall + Bar is hiring a Part-Time Line Cook to join our kitchen team in Stratford, CT. Located on the Two Roads Brewing campus, our Food Hall + Bar serves high-quality food in a fast-paced environment that includes daily service, private events, festivals, and seasonal programming. 

We're looking for an experienced cook who works well as part of a team, stays organized during busy service periods, and takes pride in consistency, cleanliness, and food quality.

What You'll Do 

As a Line Cook, you'll support daily kitchen operations and prepare menu items according to established recipes, quality standards, and food safety requirements. 

Responsibilities include: 

Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to recipes and presentation standards. 
Set up and maintain an organized workstation before and throughout service. 
Complete daily food preparation and station setup based on service needs. 
Maintain proper food storage, labeling, rotation, temperature control, and handling practices. 
Follow sanitation procedures and Department of Health requirements. 
Monitor product quality and communicate shortages or kitchen needs to the appropriate team member. 
Keep your station clean and organized during service and complete assigned closing duties. 
Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing food and kitchen supplies. 
Support the kitchen team during high-volume service, events, and festivals. 

Qualifications: What We're Looking For 

Previous line cook or professional kitchen experience required. 
Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. 
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. 
Strong attention to detail and consistency. 
Dependable, organized, and able to work collaboratively with others. 
Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 pounds. 
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs. 
Reliable transportation to and from our Stratford location. 

Compensation & Perks
