Job Details: Job Location: RED BANK YMCA - RED BANK, NJ, Position Type: Part Time, Education Level: None, Salary Range: $16.11 - $18.00Hourly, We have part-time and full-time lifeguard opportunities at the Red Bank branch of the YMCA of the Jersey Shore for the daytime shift.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Monitor swimming pool activities and maintain a safe aquatic environment.
Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies.
Enforce pool safety rules and YMCA policies.
Conduct pool area inspections and safety checks.
Perform routine water testing and document results.
Provide excellent customer service to members and guests.
Attend required trainings and in-service sessions.
Support a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all participants.
Perform additional functions as assigned

Qualifications: Required:

Current Lifeguard Certification (YMCA, Red Cross, or equivalent)
CPR/AED Certification
First Aid Certification
Ability to successfully complete swim and rescue skills assessments
Minimum age requirement as required by state regulations 

Preferred:

Previous lifeguard experience
Experience working with children and families
Customer service experience
