Season: Immediate Start – Labor Day

About the Position

Tennis Central is looking for reliable and responsible Lifeguards to join our team at The Beach Club in Potomac, MD for the remainder of the summer season.

We are looking for both full-time and part-time lifeguards, with flexible scheduling available depending on your availability.

Responsibilities

As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for:

•  Actively monitoring the pool and surrounding areas to ensure the safety of all members and guests 
•  Enforcing pool rules in a professional and friendly manner 
•  Responding quickly and appropriately to emergencies 
•  Providing first aid and emergency care when necessary 
•  Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized pool environment 
•  Checking the pool area before, during, and after shifts for potential safety concerns 
•  Communicating professionally with members, families, children, and other staff 
•  Working closely with the Tennis Central and Beach Club teams to provide a safe and positive experience for everyone at the facility 

Qualifications

•  Current Lifeguard Certification required 
•  Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification
•  Strong swimming ability 
•  Responsible, attentive, and dependable 
•  Comfortable working independently and maintaining constant awareness of the pool area 
•  Strong communication and customer service skills 
•  Must be available for at least some shifts through Labor Day

Schedule

We are currently hiring for the remainder of the summer through Labor Day.

Both full-time and part-time schedules are available, and we are happy to work around other commitments when possible.
