The Claims Representative is responsible for evaluating, investigating, and resolving individual death claims while maintaining accurate financial records. They must also provide superior customer service and ensure prompt, accurate correspondence with internal and external clients.
Job Description
As a Life Insurance Claims Representative, you will be responsible for the evaluation, investigation and resolution of individual death claims within established guidelines. You will be providing a superior customer experience to our clients.
- Providing superior customer service to our customers
- Processing and approving claim payments
- Providing prompt and accurate correspondence to internal and external customers
- Maintaining accurate and complete financial records
- Evaluating, analyzing and investigating claims
- Answering phone calls from our policyholders

Qualifications
What Sets You Up for Success
- Some college or equivalent work experience preferred
- Experience working for a life insurance company
- Understanding of life insurance claims
- Strong math or insurance background
- Continuing education is highly encouraged through achievement of a LOMA designation and/or the ICA Associate, Life and Health Claims designation
- Strong, proven customer service experience and skills
