About the Role

This is a part-time, independent contractor (1099) position, ideal for therapists looking for flexibility and a meaningful way to grow their practice while focusing on delivering care.

Stance Health is looking for fully licensed mental health therapists in Michigan to provide virtual therapy to individuals living with chronic pain. We're seeking clinicians who care deeply about an underserved population and want to meaningfully impact a growing company. You'll collaborate directly with company leadership to iterate and improve our care model.

What You'll Do

You'll conduct virtual therapy sessions with clients experiencing chronic pain, delivering high-quality care using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Chronic Pain (CBT-CP) and Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT). You'll help clients reduce pain levels, improve daily functioning and quality of life, and develop practical strategies for managing the physical and emotional impact of chronic pain.

Qualifications

• Clinically licensed to practice therapy in the state of Michigan (LMFT, LMSW, or LPC)

• Experience working with clients in chronic pain, or a strong interest in developing expertise with this population

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and technology

• Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
