Licensed Massage Therapist - Greenwich

What You’ll Do:

• Perform massage therapy services utilizing the appropriate therapeutic techniques according to treatment booking (Swedish, deep tissue + additional services such as Thai massage is a plus!)
• Instruct clients on additional at-home methods, including Sage + Sound retail, to improve wellness, such as exercises, product implementation and relaxation techniques.
• Provide detailed explanations of benefits of massage therapy aftercare instructions to clients and guidance on how to maintain benefits between sessions, including hydration and activities.
• Recommend products and additional services to clients as appropriate.

• Follow all policies and protocols related to client safety, privacy, and satisfaction, while maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards.

• Proactively stay updated with the latest research and developments in massage therapy techniques
• Keep up to date with any and all required CT massage therapy licenses

About You: (required)

• Minimum of 3+ yrs professional experience providing massage therapy
• Client-building relations, retention, and communications skills are required 
• Demonstrated sales of massage-related services and customer service skills.
• Must have  liability insurance
• Time management abilities for 60min, 75min and 90min treatment sessions
• Valid CT massage therapy license
• • Prior training, certification, and experience in prenatal massage therapy (opt)
• Excellent massage technique with a gentle touch and thorough knowledge of anatomy 
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients 
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed 
• Commitment to maintaining highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation 
• Reliable with strong work ethic
