Job DetailsJob Location: Veridian Castleton - Indianapolis, IN 46250Friedman Real Estate is seeking an experienced Licensed Journeyman Electrician to support our multifamily residential portfolio. This position is responsible for performing electrical installations, repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance across apartment communities while ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with applicable electrical codes.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems throughout multifamily residential properties.
Perform electrical work within apartment units, common areas, leasing offices, maintenance facilities, and building systems.
Install, repair, and replace electrical panels, breakers, outlets, switches, lighting, wiring, fixtures, and other electrical components.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and determine appropriate repairs.
Perform preventative maintenance and electrical inspections as needed.
Respond to electrical service requests and emergency situations.
Ensure all work complies with applicable local, state, and national electrical codes and safety requirements.
Coordinate with management and maintenance team regarding repairs, project timelines, and property needs.
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications
Current Journeyman Electrician license required.
Previous electrical experience in multifamily, residential, commercial, or property management environments preferred.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and applicable electrical codes.
Ability to independently diagnose and resolve electrical issues.
Ability to read electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
Strong attention to safety and quality of work.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
