Library Program Specialist (Part-Time) | City of Bandon Library
The Bandon Library is seeking a creative and community-focused Library Program Specialist to plan and lead engaging programs for youth and adults while assisting with daily library operations.
Pay: $20.00/hour
Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and facilitating library programs and events
- Leading preschool story time and literacy activities
- Community outreach and partnership development
- Marketing library programs
- Assisting with library operations, circulation, and cataloging
- Supporting the Library Director with reports and special projects
Requirements
- A passion for libraries, literacy, education, and community engagement
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer proficiency and a willingness to learn library systems
- A collaborative and positive approach to working with patrons, staff, and community partners
- The ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience planning programs, activities, or events
