TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a seasoned physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our team as a hospitalist APC at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Dickson in Dickson City, Pennsylvania as a PRN nocturnist.

We are seeking candidates with prior hospital medicine or inpatient experience. This position is designed for clinicians who are confident in managing acute care patients, responding to rapid responses, and working independently in a fast-paced environment. 

Lehigh Valley Hospital - Dickson City Details:

• Nocturnist position working 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• Schedule: 7-on/7-off
• Nightly average admissions census:  4
• Responds to rapid response code; no procedures required
• Floor calls (mostly covering medical-surgical floor)

Opened in May 2022 and a part of the Lehigh Valley Health Network. This 100,000 square foot state of the art hospital has an extensive range of patient care and diagnostic testing. The hospital is surgical specialty focused with seven operating rooms, two procedure rooms and 24 private inpatient rooms. Located in Lackawanna County, this community has access to premier emergency care, with a 19-bay emergency room and a helipad for times when higher level of care is
needed.
