Job Description
Job Title: Legal Assistant
Location: Redmond, WA (Corporate Office)
Pay Range: $22/hr. - $24/hr.
Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity.

- Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya – delivering the most authentic Japanese ramen experience outside Japan through scratch-made broths, Japanese-designed interiors, and craftsmanship.
- Supreme Dumplings – offering handcrafted Xiao Long Bao and other small bites made with precision, tradition, and heartfelt execution.
- Tang Bar / Swish Swish – a modern fast-casual concept bringing bold Sichuan malatang flavors to a customizable, energetic format.
Though each concept is unique, all share the same values: craftsmanship, connection, hospitality, and a relentless pursuit of culinary excellence. We proudly operate 20+ restaurants and 4+ central kitchens/commissary facilities across multiple states — and we’re growing.
Responsibilities:
Executive & Corporate Support
- Provide direct legal and administrative support to the CEO, including managing calendars, high-level correspondence, and sensitive documentation.
- Act as the primary point of contact for legal inquiries, coordinating between executive leadership and external legal counsel.
Store Operations & Document Management
- Manage the processing and maintenance of legal documents, contracts, and case files for all store locations.
- Standardize filing protocols to ensure consistent document retention and organization across the company.
Licensing & Regulatory Compliance
- Lead the application and renewal process for Business, City, and Liquor licenses to ensure all locations remain in full compliance with local and state regulations.
- Coordinate with government agencies and municipal offices (e.g., King, Snohomish, Pierce counties) to navigate specific permitting requirements.
Communication & Coordination
- Draft, proofread, and format legal agreements and corporate filings.
- Schedule and coordinate mediations, evaluations, and professional meetings on behalf of the organization.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of Legal Assistant or related administrative experience
- Familiarity with basic legal documentation and filing systems
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to support administrative and legal tasks for business operations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Familiarity with legal terminology preferred
- Experience supporting small business or office operations is a plus
