Job Details: Job Location: Lockwood - Saint Louis, MO, Salary Range: Undisclosed, OnderLaw, a nationwide product liability and personal injury law firm based in St. Louis, is looking for a Legal Assistant to join our team.
Under the direction of the Managing and Lead Paralegals, this role is responsible for handling client calls, collecting necessary paperwork, correspondence, initial investigations, ordering medical records, and billing verifications. This position maintains and updates client files in SmartAdvocate and performs administrative tasks as assigned.
Additional responsibilities may include assisting with trial preparation, marking exhibits, printing documents, and assembling binders, as well as any other tasks as needed to support the litigation team. Effective written and verbal communication with clients, attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants is essential.
Qualifications: Education/Experience:
Minimum of 1-year legal assistant experience
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
Strong communications skills both written and verbal.
Strong attention to detail, ability to adapt, change pace quickly with a high degree of multi-tasking and time management
