Job Details: Job Location: Country Glen - Groton, CT, Salary Range: $22.00 - $24.00, Schochet is currently hiring a Leasing Consultant
Country Glen Apartments is a 300+ unit market-rate apartment community located in Groton, CT.
Key Responsibilities:
Show available apartment units to prospective residents and process move-ins
Conduct resident orientations and unit inspections
Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of property offerings and competitors
Prepare brochures and marketing materials for potential renters
Support the Property Manager with office tasks such as answering phones, filing, creating newsletters, logging maintenance issues, and assisting residents
Handle paperwork for prospective and current residents
What We’re Looking For:
Prior leasing and sales experience required
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Motivated self-starter who can work independently and in a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
Excellent organizational, proofreading, and communication skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to maintain confidentiality and stay composed under pressure
Work Schedule:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Thursday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
